Bushiroad Announces English Weiβ Schwarz Errata Card Exchange Program
Walnut, CA (July 11, 2013) –Bushiroad will be exchanging English Weiβ Schwarz cards with major textual errors for corrected cards at various Bushiroad-operated events throughout the year.
Currently the only cards covered in this program are from the English Puella Magi Madoka Magica Booster set. The errors are such that there is a high likelihood for players to misinterpret the text on those cards and improperly play them.
Card MM/W17-TE10 was originally titled “Childhood Friend of Kyosuke, Sayaka,” but has now correctly been retitled “Childhood Friend of Kamijo, Sayaka.”
Additionally, card MM/W17-036 “Homura 'Fights On'” has been corrected. The original card read: “[AUTO] When this card is frontal attacked, look at the top card of your deck, and put it on the top of your deck or the bottom of your deck.” This has now been reprinted to read: “[AUTO] When this card is frontal attacked, look at the top card of your deck, and put it on the top of your deck or into your waiting room.”
Players with the affected cards can bring them to any event operated by Bushiroad USA Inc. or Bushiroad Southeast Asia Pte Ltd, and exchange them for the corrected versions of the cards at no additional cost. The program will start off with the Team League 2013 Last Minute Qualifier and Weiβ Schwarz Kick-Off Event, both taking place at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA on July 13 and July 14 respectively. Other events include the upcoming Cardfight!! Vanguard World Championship series which takes place in September and November worldwide, all of which are open admission.
