First Maid Café Standalone Event in Manchester
Sweet cupcake maid café is an event based café designed to appeal to everyone by offering a unique look into the exciting world of Japanese pop culture. The authentic Japanese catering is served by our team of professionally trained waitress and waiters in cute maid/butler uniforms the same as the maid café's that line the streets of Akihabara.
The idea of a maid café is to provide an environment where the café patrons are treated like they're the lords or ladies of their own homes, the aim is to provide a loving and comfortable atmosphere for any Japan enthusiasts or newcomers who wish to be treated like royalty for a day.
Taking someone's order is simply not enough to create the heart-warming environment we strive for. The maids spend one on one time with the customers, during this time they will draw pictures, Play games and even write messages to each person. The maids and butlers are also professionally trained performers who dance to popular J-pop songs.

Sweet cupcake has bought the maid café experience to the United Kingdom at popular events such as: Manchester Doki Doki, Moe Moe Con and Chibi Sunny con however for the first time Sweet cupcake and Sweet Octopus are joining up to create a unique standalone event.
This fantastic Sweet Vanilla maid café and concert event will be held at nexus art café on the 18th of April from 7-11pm. There will be appearances from some local manga artists and even a cosplay competition.
Tickets are priced at £10 this ticket includes: two small cakes from sweet octopus, a free photo with the maids and one free game with a maid of your choice. Due to the nature of the event ticket numbers are limited so please be sure to purchase them in advance.
