Mangaka Wataru Yoshizumi to be Guest at Ushicon 2017
Manga GOH - Wataru Yoshizumi, Mangaka for Marmalade Boy, Ultra Maniac
Austin, TX -- Best known for creating the classic shoujo manga "Marmalade Boy", mangaka Wataru Yoshizumi will be featured at Ushicon 2017 as a Guest of Honor (GOH). She will be participating in various panels and autograph signings throughout the event. Dates and times of the events TBD.
Wataru Yoshizumi began her mangaka career while working as an office lady and has gone on to pen manga in Shueisha's shoujo magazines Ribon, Chorus and Margaret. Her published works include fan favorite Marmalade Boy, Handsome Girlfriend, Ultra Maniac, Chitose etc. and many more. Ms. Yoshizumi has recently been working on Marmalade Boy Little, a sequel series to her popular Marmalade Boy manga, which was animated by Toei in the 90s.
