Anime Boston 2019 Announces its Third Round of North American Guests

Voice Actors Michelle Ruff and Greg Ayres to appear at
the Northeast's largest anime convention


Boston - Anime Boston, the largest anime convention in New England, announced its third round of North American guests today. Voice Actors Michelle Ruff and Greg Ayres will be appearing at Anime Boston at the Hynes Convention Center, Boston, Mass, on April 19 through 21, 2019.

Michelle Ruff, originally a midwestern girl from the Motor City Madhouse, now hails from sunny Los Angeles. You can hear Michelle as some of your favorite and iconic anime and video game characters including Sinon from Sword Art Online, Rukia Kuchiki from Bleach, Yoko Littner from Gurren Laggan, Fujiko Mine from Lupin the Third, Luna from Sailor Moon classic and Sailor Moon Crystal, Yukari Takeba from Persona 3 and Persona 4, Sadayo Kawakami from Persona 5, Rita Mordio from Tales of Vesperia, Katherine with a K from Catherine, Young Satoru in Erased, Sakuya Tachibana from God Eater, Kirari from Kakegurui, Ririka Nishizono from Occultic Nine, Yuki Nagato from The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, Anri Sonohara from Durarara, Princess Euphemia and young Lelouche from Code Geass, Eliza from Skullgirls, Jill Valentine in Resident Evil Revelations, C-Viper from Street Fighter, Robin from Fire Emblem, Tokki in Lawbreakers, Chi from Chobits, Cream the Rabbit from Sonic the Hedgehog, and many others.

Greg Ayres has been blasting his way through 2019! He was thrilled to make his second appearance in the DragonBall universe in DragonBall Super as Frost, and equally excited blasting bugs as Geo in Sony Picture's Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars. Some other recent roles include Jiro in Concrete Revolutio, Sho Utsumi in SSSS.Gridman, Ryuuou Edogawa in Doreiku, Koji Koda in My Hero Academia, Yabase in the upcoming dub of Hitorijime My Hero, and even makes an appearance as Popuko in Pop Team Epic. He was also given the opportunity to reprise one of his favorite roles as Son Goku in Saiyuki Reload Blast.

With over 290 credits to his name, he has managed to play a variety of characters that are almost as colorful as his hair. Some recent roles include Nagisa Haruki in Free, and Free Eternal Summer, MonoKuma in Danganronpa, Clear in Dramatical Murder, Doug in Gangsta, Yu Nishinoya in Haikyu, Zenji Marui in Food Wars, Ganta Igarashi in Deadman Wonderland, Heihachi Hayashida in Samurai 7, and Kouichi Sakakibara in Another. Some of his all-time favorite roles include Son Goku in Saiyuki, Chrono in Chrono Crusade, Kaoru Hitachiin in Ouran High School Host Club, Youhei Sunohara in Clannad, Yuki in The Wallflower, Leo in Ghost Stories, Satoshi Hiwatari in DNAngel, Kaworu Nagisa in the Director's Cut of Neon Genesis Evangelion, Tomoki Sakurai in Heaven's Lost Property, and Negi Springfield in Negima.

Previously announced guests include Billy Kametz and Tara Sands.
