Utawarerumono: ZAN Out Now on Steam

The Utawarerumono series, developed by AQUAPLUS, has been a sensation in Japan for over 20 years and a hit in the West for almost a decade. The core trilogy of tactics-JRPG adventures, Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen, Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth, are already available on Steam.

Utawarerumono: ZAN follows the story of Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, punctuating its most exciting moments with fast-paced action gameplay. As you proceed through the adventure, more characters will be unlocked for you to control. Start every mission with up to four allies and switch characters whenever you please! Gather a team of your favorite heroes before you challenge the most difficult content.

Once your characters are strong enough, you'll unlock the ability to unleash devastating Final Strikes that can annihilate whole screens' worth of enemies or resuscitate your party from the brink of death.

Every character has a unique ability that changes the way you play the game. Some of these passive effects are always active, while others will only trigger under specific conditions.
