Netmarble Announces 2026 New Year Festival: Infinite Sunshine for The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross
LOS ANGELES – JANUARY 5, 2026 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, announced the 2026 New Year Festival: Infinite Sunshine for The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross (7DS). This new update introduces a new UR dual hero, fresh seasonal content, and the start of the long-term anniversary program known as the 777 Relay Campaign. The game opens the new year with expanded rewards, special summoning opportunities, and new narrative experiences for players across all supported regions.
A major focus of this update is the beginning of the 777 Relay Campaign, a seven-month celebration running through June 2026 to mark the seventh anniversary of The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross. The opening month offers new rewards such as 100 Diamonds, enhanced draw mileage bonuses, special coupon rewards, and access to [Era's End] Demon King Meliodas with a themed costume. Each month will introduce a new set of rewards and commemorative features, with details shared regularly through the official The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross brand site.
The centerpiece of this festival is the debut of [Dusk's Oath] Merlin and Escanor, who appear together as a dual hero for the first time. As part of the New Year Fes 2026: Infinite Sunshine Rising Draw benefits, guaranteed rewards are provided at 150, 300, 450, 600, 750, and 900 mileage in the first cycle, while only the 300, 600, and 900 mileage guarantees apply in the second cycle. Rewards include SSR heroes at 150, 450, and 750, SSR or UR heroes at 300 and 600, and the new UR hero at 900.
Festival content will also include the Liones Sunrise Festival world event that features a new seasonal storyline with Meliodas, as well as expanded login bonuses that provide up to 300 Diamonds. New Year missions will grant hero [Adventure Guide] Fox Sin once all tasks are completed. Additional holiday activities include the Lucky Spin with high-value Diamond rewards, the Companion Invite Event program for new and returning users, a themed raid that includes a Meliodas costume created with participation from original author Nakaba Suzuki, and the returning Event Boss Parade in order of Aboru, Kimara, Graeon and Cath.
Players can also take part in the Artifact Wish Draw, which lets them increase their chances of obtaining selected artifacts using Time Crystals earned from multiple events. The GRAND START 100 Time Retry Draw grants 10 heroes immediately upon downloading the new update, and the New Year Diamond Perks event delivers bonus rewards that include a unique Merlin and Escanor costume for players who consume a designated amount of Diamonds during the festival.
