Announcement of 'Palworld Official Card Game' Scheduled for Release on July 30, 2026

Bushiroad Inc. (Headquarters: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takaaki Kidani) is pleased to announce the launch of its new trading card game, Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME, on July 30, 2026.

The project was announced during the Cardfight!! Vanguard 15th Anniversary Bushiroad New Year Grand Presentation, held on January 12, 2026 at Tokyo Dome City.

What is Palworld?
Palworld is a multiplayer monster taming, open-world survival crafting game set in a world inhabited by mysterious creatures known as “Pals.”

Since the start of Early Access on January 19, 2024, the total number of players across Steam®, Xbox, PlayStation®5, and Mac has surpassed 32 million worldwide, establishing it as a global hit.

What is the Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME?
The Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME, published by Bushiroad, is a new trading card game based on the globally successful video game Palworld, scheduled for release on July 30, 2026.

This is a two-player competitive card game in which players build and deploy teams of Pals, collect resources, and construct structures to control the field and work towards victory. Each Pal features unique characteristics that support different strategies, enabling varied and dynamic gameplay experiences.

The game is designed to deliver a competitive tabletop experience that brings the world and core mechanics of Palworld into a physical trading card game format.

Product Release on July 30, 2026
The Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME will be released on July 30, 2026 with the release of two trial decks and a booster pack. The product will be available in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, with a simultaneous worldwide release planned.

Prerelease Demo Sessions and Presales Starting in Spring 2026
Prerelease demo sessions will begin in Spring 2026 at local game stores and conventions across Japan and international markets, starting at Bushiroad EXPO 2026 in Chicago. Attendees will have an opportunity to try out the game and will receive a prototype deck(1) for taking part in the demo sessions.

Additional demo sessions will be conducted at all Bushiroad EXPO events starting March 2026, allowing players around the world to experience Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME. Demo sessions will be held at Card Game Festival 2026 at Tokyo Big Sight this May as well.

Presales will be available at select events one month prior to the official product release.

Organized Play and World Championship
Organized play at local game stores and regional tournaments worldwide have been confirmed.

Regional qualifier tournaments will begin in Autumn 2026 across multiple regions, leading to the first-ever World Championship. Qualified players will compete for the World Championship title at Card Game Festival 2027.
