I have it marked in my subscription section to redirect me to the fast server, but I'm not. I noticed that the site was moving a little slower and saw in my address bar that I'm on the normal "www" server. Over the last few days I have occasionally (like three times) gotten a message saying something along the lines of "there was a problem with the server...the headmaster has been informed...". Is that perhaps why I'm not on the fast server.
EDIT: It is now 8:34 am EST and I'm back on the fast server. Thanks for the quick fix. |

I am having the same problem today as KoH; I'm on urd/peorth for some reason, and it says "www.anime..." instead of "fast.anime..." My redirct to fast server box is still checked.
I've been noticing the site is slower for me lately too, but didn't think to check the server until today. EDIT: as of 9:00 pm Pacific time, I'm back on the fast server. Last edited by kyokun703 on Sun Jan 09, 2011 11:56 pm; edited 1 time in total |

I tend to have the redirect turned off (there have been occasions in the past where fast has gone down while www is working but due the redirect I've been locked out) and the www server has been especially slow of late.

Yeah to a non-subscriber like me This website has been really slow for the past couple days to even not responding at all.
Almost every time I have to attempt 3 different ways to get to an anime. Like typing it in manually in the search, using the encyclopedia, to googleing it then coming to the website. |

While it was fixed last night, today I'm back on bel and www.
EDIT: Instead of using my Firefox toolbar address button, I went and typed in "fast.anime...." and it put me back on skuld. |

The redirect to fast is setup so that subscribers won't be locked out if the fast server is down:
go to www -> redirect to fast -> site unreachable go to www again -> does not redirect to fast That's probably why you were not being redirected. I've incanted some voodoo magic one hour ago and I'm somewhat hopeful it has improved the responsiveness of the servers. |

You might want to try a sacrifice...as it didn't seem to work. (just an FYI as to the lag, it is still fairly noticable and has been since maybe friday or so) |

I've also started having this problem as of today. I can go to the fast server if I type it in the URL, but if a link takes me to the www server, it doesn't redirect me.
