Tokyopop got a page up for this manga. Adapated by an American writer and drawning by a korean artist Kim Jae-Hwan (King of hell).

Could be interesting to see. With World of Warcraft coming out during the holidays, the fan base will definitely be prime for a graphic novel of some kind - I just hope it's good and stays true to the Warcraft Universe.

Starcfrat? Why? I rather believe that Warcraft is a better game, and also it has more expanions/continuations than Starcraft. There's more people ho has played at Warcraft and not Starcraft than viceversa. It's either more popular.
I swear I can't find an answer to my "Why?" |

While it is true that Warcraft has existed longer then Starcraft, StarCraft has sold more copies alone then any other Warcraft game that preceded it (I'm not sure what the stats are on Warcraft 3). But Koreans love Starcraft, and it is the best online stratagy game to date, as far as balance design and resource gathering (Warcraft 3, I dont think so). StarCraft has lasted longer then any other blizzard game has in popularity, hell they STILL have tourneys for it in Korea and Germany.
Also, after looking at some stats online, right into 2000, Starcraft managed to stay on the top ten list of games. Thats a LONG time for any game. Also, in the same month that Warcraft 3 came out, the Starcraft Battle chest was STILL on the top ten list of top sales. Let the stats speak for themselves I say. Not that I have anything against WarCraft (Was a huge fan of it long before StarCraft came out), I cant wait for this manga. I just think that a Starcraft one would sell, maybe around the release of Ghost (If THAT ever sees the light of day). |

Hum...But Warcraft can be considered as the whole Warcraft, Warcraft 2 and Warcraft 3. Maybe you're right at the point that actually, it's gettin' more played Starcraft, but I rather believe that most people who would buy a manga has played more at Warcraft...
And, IMHO, the Warcraft background allows a better plot and better characters than the futuristic part. Anyways, that's what I just think. If you have something agaisnt the publication of it, it's not of my fault, hehe

Are you kidding, I cant wait for this manga, I love Warcraft, I just play starcraft waaaay more. I have also read more of the warcraft books (Richard A knack kicks ass) then the starcraft books. In fact, I have oredered a copy of this manga (Well, resrved a copy when it comes out). I just want them to also release a StarCraft manga someday, there isn't enough Sci fi manga out there, at least not enough gritty well written ones (Save for PlanetES, best manga ever).

Do you think that they will use the heros in warcraft (i.e Illidan
Stormrage), or do you think that they will create new ones? Illidan is my fav. |

I think it's based off the oniine game War of Warcraft. The character info hasn't been posted yet. Online game and manga, an unlikely compination but I guess with the success of Ragnarok, who knows. Personally, I would really like a Final Fantasy manga based on any of the FF game. |

Oddly fitting that it will be done be a Korean artist (anyone who's gotten their ass kicked in a couple minutes in Starcraft knows what I'm talking about).
But I have to say Starcraft is better. Aside from the gameplay elements, Warcraft ripped so many aspects of it's world off Tolkien. Still a good story, but Starcraft is far more engaging IMO. |

I must agree, but just for the FFVII, FFVIII and FFIX. The others take more care about how does the videogame look than the story and it's characters. Anyways, a manga based on a game like Warcraft can be cool, we'll just hope it won't do the same as Final Fantasy Unlimited -_- |

Well how about FFIV, FFV, FFVI, they definatly went only for story. Definatly took me longer to beat FFVI then it did FFIX. But your right, anything after FFIX did suck (Heres a prayer for FFXII and FFVII-2, may you not suck hard like your PS2 predocesors)
