I wanted to know if there are any worthy mangas to look at nowadays since I have been mainly into anime. I lean towards animes like love hina, negima, chobits, etc. But I am just looking for something that is 16 or higher or whatever really that has a good story with good artwork. It can be a comedy or an action or a romance whatever really. Please add a description of the manga (a little something about the story the genre and the art. Also give a description of the main characters)

For the titles you mentioned, I believe you may like some harem mangas and similar. Then you can't go wrong with Ai Yori Aoshi. It's a really nice story about Kaoru Hanabishi's (the main character) life after meeting Aoi Sakuraba, a girl he used to play with from younger. The story starts getting interesting when more female characters (and I'm needed to say that ALL are really pretty, at their way), start to appear. The drawing is also a good thing from it, besides of a great story. I must recommend it.

How about GTO? I'm sure if you're an anime fan you probably already heard about this. The manga though is done much more better. A lot of scene that never made the anime. Pure comedy/echii and you might learn something after all. I read a lot of manga and when I want to read something fun, I can always count on GTO.

I'm gonna add one more. I believe (and expect
 ), you've heard of Katsura. You can like mostly all of his mangas, but I'm not recommending them, just D·N·A2. It leaves more the harem style, going to a mixture between a comedy and love. Junta Momonari, a boy who has problems with girls (he has vomits whenever the situations becomes "hotter than normally"), is one day surprised by an strange girl who cames from the future. She reveals him that Junta's gonna be the MegaPlayboy, and will have near a hundred of children. Those, will each one have another hundred of children (by it's DNA), and soon the Earth will be overpopulated. However, things don't go at all of she was expecting when...
Hum, it's also a short story, so you shouldn't have problems for buying all of it, and it'll be cheaper than most other series (as GTO). But GTO is also a good option. And don't forget to see their respective pages on Encyclopedia for more information!!^^ |

Thank you those sound good. I have heard of and seen the GTO manga. Also I have a couple volumes of AI Yori Aoshi. ANyways if you have any more recommendations please go on.
