Augh, and it was just looking like they were doing better too! Guess it's time to start worrying about collecting their titles again too....

Wow and not long after Bandai's decision to leave the industry too.

I'd feel more sorry if they weren't holding Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei Hostage.... They weren't doing anything anyway. Getting paid to sit at a desk and do nothing.

Seriously, not cool. I hope they are able to continue to publish anime and their various other brands! It would really suck to lose another distributor here in the US market.

Boo. That sucks. So, either Media Blaster is tightening their purse strings now as a pre-emptive measure or sales of their titles haven't been too hot across the board lately.

Not that I am going to disagree with any one, but I remember some people mentioning MB should be fine due to their live-action movies since that's where they make their money. Maybe not?

They haven't released ONE series yet and you think they should start failing? Disproportionate retribution much?

And I like how you think they're getting paid for "doing nothing" as if you were there. That's good, you just keep doing that.

Not to sound selfish, but I was really looking forward to them potentially releasing Queen's Blade Rebellion. I mean, they still can, but a dubbed BD sounds a little less likely. Unless, of course, the first two seasons did gangbusters, because then I'd imagine it'd be an easy decision to give it the "Star" treatment like the other two.

This is sad to hear, I hope this won't hurt them badly. This is not how I want the anime industry to start off the new year.
