Haha, I saw that listed as well. I love it. I was, well, not really surprised to see MasaManiA! absent from that list (I have to admit it's not very informative), but it's still one of my favorite Japan-related blogs. |

Well lets be frank here, we spend our spare time posting about Japanese cartoons and comics, talk to each other about the same thing, buy the same thing, read/watch the same thing enough to justify posting on a forum. A good deal of the forum run around labelling themselves and others as Otaku. I think it's safe to say we 100% deserve the geek label, but I don't think of it as a condescending thing. |

Think outside the box kinda thing. The coolest people I have ever met were all into weird stuff, but they are smart and can think for themselves. You and everbody else have one thing over alot of people: Your passionate about something. |

I'd also like to congrat ANN. No other related website comes close to being as thorough about everything anime and manga. I also wouldnt have met Shinichiro Watanabe if it wasnt for this site. Keep up the good work

Yeah I was a little irked by the geek comment too. Many of us just happen to have an interest in anime...c'mon anime is cool, guys...
Anyway, grats ANN. Lots of anime companies quote ANN on their websites and it always comes up as one of the first sites when any anime is googled. It's probably the biggest US site covering anime and manga on the intarweb, and for that, ore wa kanshya shiteimasu (I am grateful). |
