I personally haven't watched it, but alot of people didn't like it. I think it was the end, I don't recall.

I personally love Blue Gender, I think it was a wise decision by Funimation to pick this one up. Its nice to see them do such a mature show after DBZ. I had no qualms with the ending. Its one of the typical "happily ever after" type endings if i recall correctly. been a while since I watched it. Overall I was pleased with the series as a whole.

Blue Gender was a good series. But i cant see how they are going to be able to show everything. There are a lot of scences that they are going to have to cut out.

after all the violent and impossible situations leading up to the ending, it was a bit of a let down..a bit hokey. but, i'm glad that it ended on a happy note.

i still don't quite understand what went about at the end (e.g. what were the rays of light for? did that have anything to do with people going berserk or they just went nuts from stress?). it's a series worth watching, as it does a great job of building the relationship between the two main characters at everyone else's expense.

it'll be interesting to see how the battle scene in the last episode is edited...talk about a carnage...

It was a happy ending? Incredibly bad, most definitely, but I didn't find anything happy about it. And don't get me wrong; I like non-happy endings. Blue Gender's was just so poorly done it killed any like I had for the rest of the series.

I'm still watching it on Adult Swim, but it has been good so far. I really like the art and the dramatic irony in the story. Glad to know there's gonna be a happy ending of sort; I was feeling bad for Marlene.

I don't know about the art - I think it's kinda wak and looks old. That's why I wasn't really into it at first. But, now I've started watching it regularly, and I'm really starting to dig it. Except for that little girl that's always trying to get on Yuji - she's so annoying!

I should hope not, given that it's under 5 years old.. and Eva is nearly twice that! :)

My restored Macross is twenty. It still looks good, not Macross zero nice, but better than alot of late eighties stuff.

I think the art is reminiscent of older series, which I like, but it more or less satisfies contemporary visual standards.

I didn't enjoy the series much at first and I'm still somewhat dubious regarding it. Early on it killed off characters so quickly that you didn't give a damn about them and it was a often dull. I have been consistently impressed by the portrayal of the emotions and psychology of the central characters. The story and human interest have picked mpw and I'm actually enjoying it. It's not a great series by my mark, but a fairly good one.

I really like the style, it's nice to look at, but I have trouble with some of the animation itself. My biggest gripe is with some of the explosion effects. Seems like a lot of the times the blasts are just red yellow and orange with no blending what so ever, really weak. And smoke just seems to apear out of no where and looks like it was painted on to the TV, completely nongradient and unnatural.

Otherwise I'm enjoying it.

I wasn't impressed with the art either. I don't know, it just seems to odd for me, like it wanted to look stylish but it didn't pull it off. I didn't like some facial expressions and some or their suits just looked plain aweful. It seem I was watching a prequel side story to Starship troopers or something.
