Well this was bound to happen with all the favorite (insert ANYTHING anine related here) threads, What is your favorite quote in an anime? Mine's from Eva (surprise, surprise), in episode 24, when Ritsuko told Gendo, "I'm not happy anymore...not even when you make love to me. Do whatever you what to me...it's never stoped you before". Very well acted.

The choice in the dub of episode 26 to add "Yes, she-who-must-be-obeyed." It shows us who was in charge with Gendo and Yui.

A little off topic, but the phrase She-who-must-be-obeyed comes from the H. Rider Haggard novel She, about a woman who is worshipped as a goddess. There is a popular book and TV series in England about a lawyer named Rumpole who calls his wife She-who-must-be-obeyed in homage the She. Maybe someone at ADVision was a Rumpole fan?
