Can anyone tell me what the first Arisa DvD has on it? I tried playing it on my DVD player but it cannot read the DVD however the second DVD plays. I know on the back of the case it says -Bonus 30 minute video- but I was curisous as to what to this is. Thanks

According to the review on AnimeOnDVD (you must be 18 or older to click the link), the "bonus" feature is some sort of badly animated short.

Oh don't be ridiculous Nagisa, the infamous "..." is more expressive than any words in the english language.

The double disc edition of Arisa has two unique discs to it; the one disc that you got to work in your player is a standard DVD-Video disc. The other disc will work in your PC via a DVD-ROM drive and will play the WMV-HD version of the show. That disc (generally) won't play on a standalone player.

I originally linked to the answer on another anime forum where the OP had asked the same question earlier and received a nice concise response. Then I thought better of it since many forums don't appreciate links to similar forums run by other sites. I meant to go back and just leave my own paraphrase of the answer in my own words but I simply got side-tracked and all that remained was the "..." I had put in the mean time.
I'll never understand why you still feel that it's okay to talk to average users like this with no provocation whatsoever. Please stop. It's very aggravating and there's simply no need for it. It really seems like you're just trying to bait people into saying something else you can then jump on further. |

[OT] Agreed. I like Tony K. much better, he is nice. Nagisa seems very angry at life. |

No provocation? You've either blatantly opted not to read the rules, or blatantly opted to ignore the rules; I'd say that given how my job here is to make sure the rules are followed, that's sufficient provocation right there. And given how I've gotten on you for rule violations in the past, you especially ought to know how they work and be abiding by them. So in that case I have even more provocation given that you're a repeat offender. Pardon me if I choose not to take crap from people who don't seem to have listened the first time. If someone makes a simple mistake, I'm plenty patient. Nobody's perfect. But when people pull blatant violations like you did here, when I know they know how things work around on these forums, I honestly don't see the point, because those people (yourself included, it would seem) clearly don't think what I say in a patient, polite voice is worth listening to as much as the stuff I shout at them.
So if I act like a dick on an anime site on the internet, I must be angry at life itself. Great logic. BACK ON TOPIC. |

I just have to say about this, to say that on the forums where YOU KNOW Nagisa is going to see that is the dumbest thing I've seen anyone do. It would have been the smarter thing to just PM the guy. Tony K. may be "nice", but he's moderator just like Nagisa and won't put up with crap the same as Nagisa. In other words, a locked topic. I don't know how long Nagisa has been modding, but I can tell you he's been doing it a lot longer than Tony K., and I'm pretty sure he gets tired of seeing the same thing for days and days on end. I've had my run-ins too, but you've got to play the game right and then you won't get on the bad list. I'm sorry that this was off topic but I just had to say it. |

Nagisa,
I may be a "repeat offender" but in all honesty you're far too easily offended to begin with. Seriously, you over-react to so many posts it's not even funny anymore. Also, holding grudges against people you don't even know is just plain childish. |

Keeping a running tab of who breaks what rules—as is my job on here—and holding a petty grudge are two different things. Of course, I shouldn't be surprised that someone as self-victimizing as yourself wouldn't understand that. And you know what? Yeah, I do get offended. I do get offended when people like you openly defy the rules, continue to openly defy the rules after I gave you the polite and by-the-books "please stop" reprimand, and then try to play the poor, abused victim when I stop putting up with your crap and give you the frickin' earful for your jackassery that you deserve. Now since I told you to get back on topic and you opted not to, I suppose this thread gets the lock. Good job, thanks for the spam. |
