I just started reading Hunter X Hunter, and I was wondering a couple of things...
...Almost everytime Hisoka speaks, there is a card suit icon following his speech. I'm guessing that these indicate Hisoka's vocal inflections, ect...but what exactly are they indicative of....? I figure the heart is kinda a taunting, happy inflection...but it's the only one I can figure out. ...Also, does anyone know what Kurapika's name means? I can't find it anywhere. Thanks! |

Hmm...well, if no one's willing to help me with the Hisoka question...I have another....
Does the mangaka mean to imply yaoi so much...? Maybe it's just me, but spoiler[the whole Hisoka crotch shot while claiming he's "so excited" to be fighting Gon...] could have been just a blatant mistake...but in Chapter 64: Return Home, the opening splash page has Gon peeking in on Kallua taking a bath. ...like I said, maybe it's just me, but it seems the mangaka's playing with yaoi-fans' minds... Comments? |
