I work weekends, so Monday I've got my day off, and I'm channel flipping on my cable box... and I find Case Closed on the guide. What the heck? Flip over, and there it is. Channel 238 in the comcast area running a 2 hour funimation block in the afternoons.

Here's the part that confuses... 238 on comcast's line up is another NBC affiliate, and does NOT show the programming. 238 dosen't exist on Yahoo's local listing of comcast channels. But there it is. Case Closed, Kodacha, Galaxy Railroad, and Dragonball.

Since it's not listed on ANY of their web information, thought I'd better spread the good word. Now if they'll just make it permanent.

One more strange thing, my comcast digital recorder refuses to set up a series recording on the channel, so I've got to select each episode of each program individually, which may mean this is something that isn't quite set in stone yet.

Comcast 238 Sacramento is a simulcast of local station KBTV-CA on channel 8. It's a multicultural station owned by Tower of Babel Broadcasting, and yes, it does play the FUNimation TV syndicated block.

Just wanted to add that I have something similar with charter cable. The channel shows an 8 hour block of the funimation channel sunday mornings. Right now I am watching lupin the 3rd, and later gunslinger girl.

I wish they would just keep the funimation channel going the whole week. Who watches access hollywood and crap like that anyways.

Be happy with what you have. FUNimation is not shown in any capacity where I live in Upstate Ny. Sad I have to buy an anime if I want to watch it. Crying or Very sad
