I'm definitely looking forward to Nobuhiko Okamoto's role in this. Can't wait for the season to air (:

I feel like the only one who has legitimately read this manga.

I love this manga a lot but it's too soon... I hope they won't ruin this thing with an anime-original ending or something... There's no much chance for a 24/25 episodes anyway...

I sometimes have feeling that Takeshi Kusao is one of the biggest names when it comes to voice actors.

It simply amazes me how he is still able (being 48, and also a guy) voicing kid Trunks in Buu saga of Dragon Ball Kai.

The series was already 20 chapters in when I subscribed to Jump and Viz haven't started putting the volumes out yet. Sad

I swear I'll catch up once I can actually read the beginning! (Or maybe I'll just watch the anime instead of reading the early chapters since it's so soon.)

I'm totally digging the cast list though.

Osamu Mikumo is protagonist, not Yuuma Kuga.

Why do all the articles on this site refer to Yuma as the protagonist, when it's actually Osamu?

Yuma is the main character, Osamu is the main protagonist.. I guess most people don't know the difference?

They sure are going all-out with the voice casting.

Can't wait to see it flop.

Yeah, sadly you're right.

Lol. I saw someone else say the very same thing. They must not have looked it up.

It's the SAME THING. It's okay if you feel like disputing the dictionary though.

It's better to describe Yuma as the focal character, while Osamu is the protagonist.

They're different, words have multiple definitions and when it comes to fiction, the protagonist is usually the hero/champion. Take Light from Death Note for example, he's the main character but he's also the antagonist..

It is a little early to get started, but they can hopefully get 24 solid episodes out without making stuff up. My guess is that they'll aim to complete the current arc, which should be over before the anime gets there.

Bro, you are really confused.

Quote:
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/antagonist
an·tag·o·nist
noun \an-ˈta-gə-nist\
: a person who opposes another person

An antagonist is not a bad guy, but merely someone who opposes someone else. Light is the protagonist of Death Note, the main character. L, Near, and Mello are the antagonists, the ones who oppose him. Unless you think Near and L are the main characters, in which case Light would be the antagonist.

Don't take your information from the "Literarydevices" website. Manga is not meant to be interpreted as a historical play like Othello. This is also not English class. Besides, literally everyone else uses "protagonist" and "antagonist" in that way outside of an English class.
