Has anyone in N America licensed the Bodacious Space Pirates movie? IIRC, Sentai had the series, IIRC.

Using its ANN encyclopedia entry, it hasn't been licensed here yet.

Sentai only has the series, but I assume they are working on getting the movie.

Those look like good numbers for Bodacious. I can't gage Edge of Tomorrow's numbers because it's a mainstream live action movie. Seems kind of low.

I can't believe Fullmetal Alchemist didn't make the list.

It's an older show and each set retails for over $150.

I'd love for it to pop up on Hulu or something - I had an absolute blast watching the show.

Kuroko no Basuke surpassed it. unless older guys(30+) want to buy it otherwise this is not bad.

It's also been released multiple times on DVD since 2003, and the BDs are just upscales so they aren't much of an upgrade.

So 2000+ copies isn't that bad. I don't see Slam Dunk on http://dvdbd.wiki.fc2.com/ but it's probably already sold a good bit on DVD.

They would be good numbers for a TV series. They're pretty bad for a movie.

Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed in the Mouretsu Pirates movie first week sales. Oh well, at least we did get a movie. Certainly would have liked to have seen more in that universe.
