Adorable. As a vivid player of the mobile game, I recognize all the characters. But really, it'll be nice to finally see them in action. It's just...
Since I actually care about the writing, I do hope this guilty pleasure anime will be worth the watch...

I'm only a player of the regular im@s games and haven't played the phone game but as a fan both of idolm@ster and idol shows I am very excited for this one regardless.

Unlike the other iDOLM@STER games for the consoles/handhelds, the mobile game is mostly just a card-collecting game. You collect idol cards and make a general 5-card live stage group for your offense and one for your defense. The two big negatives and positives of playing the game are that you need to register the game to get anything worthwhile, but once you do that, you don't need to pay a dime to be able to do well. I'm currently in the top 5,000 players of the game, and I wasn't even actively going for the spot. I just wanted some pretty cards to look at and inspire my own illustrations, which motivates me to make quick drawings of every character+outfit I get that I like.

I wish they showed or at least announced the rest of or most of the supporting cast like Girlfriend (Kari). It's a better hype builder to reveal the cast slowly than to not reveal much at all.
