do people like SAO because kirito is a good looking bishonen  i can not relate to this guy so i think this series is pretty shallow and when you actually read the thing there is no real plot so i feel like am some 15 year old child reading trash i heard reki other work is way batter and actually has PLOT

Not sure what this comment means. Big Hero 6 as a franchise has won an Oscar and been seen by millions in the US. It has far more brand awareness and a much larger existing fanbase than most manga properties do in the US. Big sales for it are hardly a surprise.

But is it really that big sales? Would Big Hero 6 fans buy manga, or manga buyers buy Big Hero 6?
