The description sounds vague and misleading while touching on the truth a little.

You know what, people have been telling me that Code Geasse is good, but IMO, the premise sounds too much like the novel 1984.

You should seriously check out the series considering there's a big possibility of triumphant rather than total despair 1984 employs. Besides you can't go wrong with the male lead Lelouche having a tactical and analytical mindset.
