Was this new arc in the manga? because i´ve read it but i cant remember what the Mad Max arc reffers to.

It's not much of an arc, it's more or less the followup right after the end of Season 1. It should start on chapter 82 (Much ado about nothing in love) and end in chapter 87 (Mad Wax, hence the title of the 'arc').

This is weird since this should be the first episode of a second season, perhaps they're just testing waters and will air it whenever the Aboveground Student Council Arc ends, or at least I hope so.

More like the Male freedom arc imo, before the "real" StuCo is introduced.

Wonder if they could grab this for the home video release? Would be nice, but it seems like episodes bundled with manga get brought over often.

Hope for a 2nd season of the anime, but I think I'll just have to end up jumping on the manga...I do have about 5 or so series ending in 2016, so will have the budget to grab another series. Laughing
