Neither does The Rose of Versailles, Dragonball or Ranma 1/2. The list is for manga published in 2015, and TG ended more than a year ago. Unless you're referring to :re, but the consensus is that's a hot mess. |

Just looked up the details!!! Very likely it'll be I.G. They always announce stuff and don't announce studio, staff, etc until months and months later (in LOGH case, it was a full year) J.C. Staff do this too sometimes but this doesn't feel like there type of series |

Did honey clover do well? That's probably the single most important factor. Sangatsu no lion start out very good, but toward the end it kinda go in circle. An anime could really help with a good editor. |

This is totally J.C. Staff kind of series! Specially because is from the same author that made Honey & Clover, one of the most popular series of the studio. And this series has a really similar feeling to H&C. |

If it ends up in JC Staff's hands then I'm definitely hoping that Kenichi Kasai will be in the director's chair. He was the mastermind behind the anime adaptation for H&C.

In this rankings normally newer series get an advantage, because they have the novelty and the new fanbase/hype going for them. The fact that One Piece a 18 year series is ranking between 1st and 3rd shows how powerful the series is. One Piece rankings: 2011: 1st 2012: 2nd(Men) 2013: 3rd 2014: 2nd 2015: 2nd |
