I believe when I watched it was around 2013 but I don't know how long it had been out, but it was a full series already. It was a Japanese subbed series and it was a newer animation style like a kaze no stigma. I watched it online and I can't really remember the music. Also the ojou-sama character had black hair and the lion could talk via telepathy. That's what I can remember sorry if it's not enough.

Hey there Smile
i forgot the name of a great anime: the main chaacter travels back in time (ancient japan or china) where he get's into a fight and by accident blacks an attack by putting the sword-sheath back over the sword and thus creating a misunderstading that the maincharacter is a skilled samurai. the main character is male and there is some comedy as well as action Smile
anyone know the name of the anime?

I'm looking into another somewhat obscure anime artist: Takashi Annou (or sometimes Anno) the director of the OVA/TV special Hotori [urtl]anime#6073[/url]

the Japanese wikipedia indicates he made something in 2010, but I can read Japanese so I can't tell what it is and anidb.net doesn't list anything for him beyond 2007. It seems like there's a fair amount of info available about him for Japanese readers. Razz

Does anyone have anymore info on him and/or what he's working on now?

His encyclopedia page suggests that his 2010 work was some storyboarding for Shin Koihime Musou. That seems to be his most recent anime work.

Not much to go on here, but I don't think there are many things that fit this category:
I remember seeing a DVD set on Amazon a number of years ago, (maybe within the last 5 or so), that was an anime that consisted of a series of movies, maybe 3 or 4 films. It wasn't a collection of random anime movies, or movies related to a tv series, (ie. NOT a Naruto movie collection.) It was an anime that strictly existed as a film series. Does this ring any bells?

Kara no Kyokai/Garden of Sinners? It's 7 films, and then there's an 8th that came out later.

Or Broken Blade/Break Blade? 6 films, and they later re-edited it into a TV series.

Okay, I like to get grab bags at anime conventions, because I like getting random stuff. I have been able to identify the franchise of everything I've obtained from these grab bags...except this one. This is the cover of a plastic folder. It bugs me not only because this is the one anime (or manga, or game, I have no idea) I cannot determine, but on two different years, I've gotten two plastic folders of this anime from the same vendor. Here's the one I've kept near me; if necessary, let me know and I'll scan the other one.

The copyright information at the bottom says © 2003 TerraLunar, © 2003 Q'Tron. I have tried looking up TerraLunar and Q'Tron on ANN's encyclopedia and on Google and found nothing of value.

I'm wondering if this may actually be a doujinshi, due to the obscurity of these companies, or a hentai due to the...unusual physics of their clothes.

That is 「カットビ! 家飛」 (Kattobi), an ero-game for PC which was released in 2003.
TerraLunar was an ero-game label which Arclight, Inc. had. (Arclight is a company that makes and sells games.)
Q'Tron was the name of a group of scriptwriters who made games.
The title 'Kattobi' is a wordplay on 'A house's flying' and a slang expression which means 'Out of the ordinary'.

The name in katakana reads Kattobi. Upon a google search of that and the year, the results on vndb states it is a VN developed by TerraLunar.

A few years ago I saw an anime that consisted of a boy or man that looked like a human but was actually a robot that carried a guitar everywhere he went. To this day I don't know what anime this is. Please help me.

My first impulse was FLCL, but on reflection it's probably actually Kikaider. The robot was half-red, half-blue right?

Thanks but I don't think that's it. He had an acoustic guitar, from what I remember.

Thank you very much! I had a feeling this was a pornographic story to some extent. Makes me wonder what this was doing at an American convention.

Thanks also!

Looking at that link, hardly anyone's heard of it. That would explain why it was relegated to grab bags year after year.
