O...K then........just when you think Japan is out of crazy shit.
Read about Midori on a blog about Japanese arthouse cinema last year, I believe the whole film was posted as well. I believe I blocked it out because I have enough nightmares thanks anyway. I had been previously unaware that it was based on Mr. Arashi's Freak Show, which Jason Thompson wrote about here on ANN for House of 1000 Manga. I have no idea how this will turn out, but this movie will definitely go on my list of "Films I'm Pretty Sure I Want to Avoid." Will be curious to see how an unsuspecting public will react to it though. |
