Played it recently at Gamescom (thankfully on Business Day, so no endless lines..) and I really liked it.
Haven't played a lot of Warriors games, but I always loved them in concept, while having problems with a) how your allies were incompetent and mostly useless (which is super annoying in a game centered around armies) and b) how you have to often rush from one objective to the next by yourself, often sprinting over the whole map to defend against a hostile push, while abandoning your current offensive, only to sprint all the way back again afterwards, which completely ruins the pace.
Fortunately they do address both of these problems by giving you the ability to quickly switch between the characters on your team during battle. That way you can actively fight on different fronts without the annoying travel time and also have further incentive to take care of your allies. Additionally allies that are close to each other can give each other support and listen to some commands you give, which empathizes the team aspect even more.
Good stuff, looking forward to it!
Oh, and the opening-animation of Camilla's special-attack is A+++....
