You have to take the whole thing off just to pee (or poop because everyone does) so that kind of makes it super inconvenient. I think we are fine with our underwear separated by tops and bottoms. Maybe just bottoms since a lot of my female friends prefer to forego bras which I can't blame em. Good luck trend but I doubt you take off.

Taking them off would be such a hassle.
It would be good for costumes and cosplays, but not much outside or that. (just like the actual leotard)

That's a catsuit. (or a sleeveless catsuit? I dunno?)

With or without sleeves - Leotard
With legs - Unitard
With sleeves, legs, face - zentai (literally, full body)

Aside from role play in the bedroom this isn't very practical.

I feel like this is only acceptable if it comes with neon pink legwarmers and Olivia Newton John's "Let's Get Physical" blasting in the background.

This is not remotely new or original. This is in fact the usual style of underwear (one piece, nothing to do with anime pirates!) that was worn by women in the west prior to the early 1960s. And in fact it never completely died out (there was always a section with them in the catalogue aimed at older ladies who had not abandoned the underwear style of their youth)

This is like reinventing the wheel. This company has invented something that already exists and has existed for a long time. For people who work in fashion they sure are ignorant about clothes history. Rolling Eyes

Just where in the west was this supposed to occur? I was 20 in 1965 and I don't remember any women that I knew using that style of underwear, ever. It may have been a regional thing though.

We had these when I was a kid in the early 90s, albeit they had snaps in the crotch so you didn't have to remove the whole thing. However, they weren't a replacement for underwear nor were they directly MODELED to look like classic white panties with a bow, a detail I think you're missing based your comment.
