FINALLY! A home video release date for Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond! Hopefully there's a Limited Edition like season 1 had, and that this series doesn't get the no-LE-for-part-2 pattern Funimation's been on lately...

Second BBB & Beyond! More surprising is the announcement for Angel Links. This is the kind of title I expected out of Discotek. Still, a welcome development; after all these years, I still can recall the ending.

what about Love Tyrant, Hina Logic, and a few other titles that are still waiting for a US physical release?

It doubt it. I don't think Funimation would dub the show at this point. They have done sub only releases with titles they've rescued in the past.

Poor Angel Links, this show should have gotten the Record of Lodoss War TV treatment and bundled with Outlaw Star's Collector's Edition because nobody's going to buy this trash spinoff separately.

Glad to hear about Tales of the Abyss though, so I guess all that's left from the Sunrise deal is Crest/Banner of the Stars?

Would have been nice if Funimation had more creative cover art for their Cowboy Bebop: The Movie release. That's basically just the old, generic one, slightly altered.

Whatever. I still hadn't gotten it on Blu-Ray. I still have that original DVD, with a custom slip cover I printed out, made to look like the covers of the DVD singles.

I was also hoping we'd get a street date to whenever Funimation plans on releasing Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These on Blu-Ray. Ah well. TBD.

I assume Tales of the Abyss will be on blu-ray. If so I'll probably double dip.

According to this, Tales of the Abyss will be on Blu-Ray, but it won't be dubbed.

But then maybe people would've said, "I don't want to buy this collection if I have to pay for Angel Links, too."

Though FWIW, I did blind-buy Bandai's AL collection back in 2007, and didn't regret it.

A year after the last volumes print run expires is usually how it goes.

Angel Links *SUCKS.* That is all.

Otherwise a fairly exemplary month of releases.

Why does it matter what it looks like? It is just going to end up on a shelf where you cant see it.

Why bother license a shows and than wait so long to release it? If a license only last 8 to 10 years that is not much time to sell it with the amount of time it has left. Even more for a under rated show like this and not even on blu ray at that.
