Classic bandai, re-releasing the unicorn one more time by re-using old stuff. You can call it the phenex as much as you want it's the same old stuff.

The Phenex isn't even remotely new, it received a Master Grade kit in 2014, appeared in two multimedia exhibits at Gundam Front Tokyo (Phantom World and One of Seventy Two), and also showed up in Last Sun (a manga that ran for six volumes in Gundam Ace magazine). It might be a re-release, but it's a five-year old re-release.

And so it has come to pass. The legacy of Gundam Unicorn has proven to be nothing more than a Bandai-sponsored Christmas tree.
