Now the real question: will these movies contain any new scenes or improvements to existing scenes? Or will they just be a new edit of the TV animation?

I doubt there will be much in regard to new animation.
These compilation movies are obviously supposed to rekindle the audience and media interest in preparation of a new TV season, which will follow later next year. We'll probably hear a date at or shortly after the movie screenings. |

Agreed completely. And it's not like they need to add new animation. But compilation films very often have it, so I'm very curious if we will see anything new here. |
