I just realized he voiced Rhya (a particularly important role) in Black Clover. I suppose they'd find a replacement.

Kind of neat to see Japan doesn't mess around with this sort of thing. As to the fact that the actor has only been alleged to have sexually assaulted his massage therapist, it's worth noting that Japan has a 99% conviction rape, which is so high in part because of the level of evidence needed to arrest an individual, so the likelihood of Mr. Arai escaping this unscathed is minimal.

So they canceled movie based on allegations and not real evidence ?!!

Also, funny how people get automatically fired from job just because they get accused by a woman before they find out if it actually happened.

They cancelled the movie due to an arrest that hasn't yet been brought to trial. But in Japan, if an individual is arrested, there is an incredibly high likelihood that they will be found guilty.

Keep in mind in Japan you can, most of the time, unilaterally cancel a contract if you have a good reason to do so, unlike in many western countries, and especially in the Common Law countries like the States, U.K, etc, when doing such thing will get you sued for millions of dollars.
