Also, this design is heavily based on the iconic monster icon designs from the monster hunter games. Not sure if Nintendo would be okay with having a fashion item with a copied design in their game.

There was also a Mewtwo design that was removed/disqualified from the competition as well, but because it was stolen fan art.
I do think that it's kinda lame that they aren't going to give the Grand Prize(s) to 2nd/3rd place at least. |

I don't even think the design is that great to be honest. Like, the individual elements in the design are neat, but they don't look good together like that. It probably would look better on a phone case where the design most likely fills the entire back of the phone. But even then, I don't like the arrangement. It doesn't feel thought out, they just put whatever to fill the blank space. It's almost like it's trying to be a patten rather than a drawing, but there's no real pattern there.
