You're a little late on this. I happened to know about this since the 14th when the September 2019 solicitations dropped.

I would guess so. The issue seems to be with the extra materials and not the discs, and I would guess that pushing back two SKUs when only one is necessary isn't something they want to do. I seem to recall Sentai having similar situations on a couple of limited edition releases, but the regular version came out on time.

According to the pre-orders on Funimation's website, both the Collector's Edition and the Standard Edition have been moved to October. So either this is an error on printing of the disks which affects both, or Funi is unwilling to break up the simultaneous release of the two editions.

Not everybody gets the solicitations or notifications directly from Funimation.
I got my update on the delay from The Right Stuf where I pre-ordered my limited edition...

As long as it eventually comes out and it gets a good quality release, I would prefer companies to delay a product to get better quality than put something out that was rushed and then you have to go through an exchange process to fix it.
