So the Zetsubou release will be sub-only, and all of the other releases are dubbed? Just want to be sure

So Gundam Seed was delayed to 2020, last we heard it was 2019:
Disappointing.

Right.
AD Police and the El-Hazard series were previously dubbed.

I preordered Zetsubou-sensei like 10 years ago.
Though I think TRSI eventually canceled it. I'll have to check.

El-Hazard: The Magnificent World got a remastered BD release in Japan (eventually), but I don't remember El-Hazard 2 or the Alternative World getting the same treatment. If Nozomi is brining them all to BD, I wonder if the latter two are going to be upscaled or something.

Cool, 0080 on BD. That was one of the last of RightStuf's Gundam distributions that was DVD-only.

I know RightStuf is more reliable than Media Blasters, but I'm going to hold off on being excited for Zetsubou Sensei until the release is closer and feels a bit more "real."

Was wondering when Nozomi would complete their El Hazard catalogue. Already got my gorgeous Japanese blu-ray set, and am assuming that Wanderers will be an SD release.
I'm somewhat interested in AD Police, if specifically for the reason of it being a spin-off to Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040, one of my all-time favorites.
Glad to finally hear an update on Gundam Seed even if it is a delay--but a little frustrated to still hear nothing about Captain Tylor.
Overall, some very decent announcements here.

Boogiepop hasn’t been released on Bluray in Japan either, right?

El Hazard is one of my favorite anime classics and it was always a shame to me that the OVAs were never rescued licensed and it seemed like fandom interest in the franchise had died down in modern times. I'm so excited these OVAs are being released on BD and there still seems to be plenty of love for El Hazard after all.

0080 is finally coming! Talk about burying the lead
I'll definitely be picking up 0080 & the original El-Hazard on BD. The rest of El-Hazard will depend on if it's worth the upgrade or not since it doesn't seem like the rest was already redone for a BD release before and I already own it all on DVD. I'll probably be picking up Zetsubou and Seed too.
edit: Now I just need X announced for NA BD =)

Yeah, I need Gundam X on blu-ray.
Will be picking up most of these.

Oh yeah, that is weird that there was seemingly no Captain Tylor update.
I guess this explains how long they've been quiet with Seed since it's now coming in 2020 instead. Guess they need a little more time to finish. Makes sense I guess since it's getting a whole new dub, it's cool we're getting both.

Call me crazy for thinking this, but the A.D. Police news has got me hyped the most. I'm a sucker for decade-plus anime being (re)licensed for (re)release in the current year.

Although widely described as a spin-off from Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040, the 1999 AD Police TV series is in its own continuity. Like BCT2040, APD is based on the same source material, but the backstory revealed in the series is totally incompatible with 2040.
ADP started broadcasting the following week after BCT2040, which is one of the reasons many assumed it to be a spin-off set in the same universe, but that's the only notable link between the two series.

That's because Media Blasters cancelled the sub-only release of Volume 1 and dropped the license entirely.
