I’m more excited for this than I can really express. Since they’re using Ichigo’s new design from Re-turn I choose to get my hopes up that my best girl Berry will make an appearance eventually.
EDIT: just a note, the proper translation of Ichigo’s animal should be Iriomote wildcat

Not gonna lie, it's going to be hard for me to get used to her hair not being bright pink anymore. This matches the shade for her civilian hair color in the old show, so I wonder if that's going to be different too.

So is this going to be a reboot or a sequel? Apparently her new design is based on the recent Re-turn manga but it also features an entire new voice cast. If it’s a sequel it’s going to be kind if Mew Berry suddenly shows up with no explanation as the original anime never adapted A la Mode.

nope i would rather have a faithful dub by Funimation or crunchyroll than a 4kids hack dub

I hear it's going to be a reboot/remake, complete with being more faithful to the manga, but I could be wrong.

I am curious what time slot the new Tokyo Mew Mew show will be broadcast on. Will it be on a time slot where the little kids will be able to watch it?

it isn't technically wrong to call them Iriomote leopard cats since they are a subspecies of leopard cat. It's also sometimes simply called an Iriomote cat too.
