If anything, it's basically old-school gag series that use a lot of references. Still quite fun nonetheless.
And I honestly ain't expected they hired the manzai comedian for Roboco. It still fits oddly.

Well, I ain't sure how much of the audio references it need to have seiyuu included, but for M&R gag routine it's very usual to throw one or two other WSJ manga references per chapter for sure, though most of this jokes are very random.
