I actually feel like it's easily worth the price because there are so few other RPGs in the same niche. Nearly every other multiplayer action RPG out there is a Diablo-like lootathon where you're expected to run the same dungeons or quests over and over again to accumulate gradually better items with slightly different modifiers on them, and that's largely what passes as "depth" in the ARPG genre nowadays. Mana-like games where you can play through a linear story with friends without worrying about the grind are a rarity.

You have to play for hours solo to unlock co-op? That sounds like a terrible dev oversight. Really irritated me in Dragon's Crown, too.
