The ending of Part 3 is a giant shitpost. So bad that it´s almost respectable with how little reverence a confrontation 1.5 decades in the making is treated. Kinda curious about how people will react.
I don´t like it but I also dislike the manga so I don´t think that any outcome could have pleased me. We´ll see. |

If you mean the ending of the Yujiro arc, I disagree. I think it ended perfectly and resolved everything that needed to be resolved while also being completely unpredictable. You could honestly say that the entirety of Baki is a shitpost if you take it literally and compare it with real life. Emotion and intensity were always above logic and reality in Baki. The parts that actually seem like a shitpost to me is the stuff that comes after Baki vs Yujiro in the manga. I haven't actually read it, but I've heard a lot about it and it seems completely unnecessary. |
