It never should have been dragged out up to this point. I know "romance " and character growth time but this feels like it has been dragging it's feet for a while now.

In any romcom, if by less than 8 chapters the readers don't know who is the winning heroine, then it's the coward option.

I'm not so sure about that. Towards the end of ‘Domestic Girlfriend’ (with only one or two chapters left), everything seemed to indicate that the main character was going to choose the younger sister, but in the end, he chose the other one.

For sure. I would not be surprised in the slightest if the manga ends just before he says who he is choosing.
I can even understand why. Seo has come under a lot of fire in the past for the drama he puts in his series and this manga feels like a reaction to that. It's studiously avoided any kind of melodrama that he was known for.

Sad to see one of the best Seo series, and one of the best Harem romcoms, ends but I hope the ending is satisfying.
