Masami Abe (19531) should be split into two people
Masami Abe (mostly uses アベ正己, real name 安部正己, sometimse credited as 阿部正己) is the older male animator. Associated with Otogi Production, Mushi Production, Jaggard, Studio Z, later CEO of Anime Spot, which was then merged into Studio Elle (where he currently works) Masami Abe (阿部正実 and 阿部正美) is the younger female animator who started work in 1989. Originally an apprentice at SHAFT, she moved to Studio Emu, and from 1993~2022 worked exclusively with Studio Kikan/ARMS/Pierrot Plus/Studio Signpost (it's all more or less the same company). This includes outsourced episodes produced by said studio (mainly to Pierrot but sometimes elsewhere). This one is going to take a lot of work. Each series that isn't on the already available lists has to be checked individually to see which studio was involved (and if none, see if there's a Japanese source that lists their kanji).
I've started it, but it'll take a bit. |
