I was thinking this would be the case. The storyline that immediately follows the point Season 3 ended off at is somewhat unconventional compared to the series' usual status quo, and it's definitely long enough to be its own film, but not quite long enough to be an entire 12-episode season. This'll be a better fit for the material they'll be adapting -- assuming it is going to be an adaptation and not an original (non-canon) story, of course.

I hope Sentai will pick this up as this has been one of my favorite CGDCT shows in the past decade.
