If WB is producing this instead of Aniplex (seriously, I thought anything by Kawahara was automatically locked by Aniplex), does that mean it's related in some way to Accel World?

I wonder if there's even a good stopping point for the anime? I've read the first 3 translated volumes of the LN and all of them end with a huge cliffhanger.

Also, looking forward to the full VA cast considering there's a whopping 40 different characters.

I had the impression that the vertical comic came out before the novels? I'm always confused which came first.

So far only thematic wise, I guess. Kinda like how the tech implants used in AW has vague connections to VR in SAO.

This series already has its novels being released in English as Demons' Crest. What reason is there to modify the title for the anime? All it does it create a needless discrepancy in the series title across mediums. This isn't like one of those light novels with a long title that gets by fine with slightly different title translations across mediums just because they're long enough anyway, this is just a simple two-word title...
Like, sure, Demon and Devil are similar enough that it'll probably be fine, but it's sure to confuse someone at some point...

Demon's Crest is also the name of a Capcom game. My guess is that they want to avoid copyright issues.

Yeah, my first thought was “is this based on that video game?” I can understand the title being changed to avoid market confusion.
