I am impressed by how they managed to turn Person into one of the gang in just five episodes. The talk with Iruma was a great moment in showing how much he cares and the self-esteem generator bit was hilarious.

Can you say "multiple conflicts of interest" about Poro being one of the judges? I dunno, his anger at Iruma's grandfather, at Iruma for being his grandson and occupying the Royal One, and his love for Iruma's teacher, among all his other issues might balance out to neutrality. But win or lose, all the contestants would have room to complain about biased judging.

I appreciate that they did not just skip past the other classes and their performances to get to the misfit class faster. Said performances were fun with Coco making use of his deep voice and that classic versus rock battle was quite hectic. Poro is indeed quite biased but it is not the first time that the gang has to earn victory with unfair odds going against them.

The performances were great, but the best part for me was Purson's convo with his mom. She was basically describing the basis of the Overton Window, dependent on the varying perceptions of where the center lies. Also, lol at his reaction to her gushing over how much she loves his father.
It still seems to me that if his brother is so good at hiding his own family can't find him, he'd be their perfect heir. I bet he's been hiding out in his room playing video games all this time because he doesn't want to be the heir either. Also, I don't see how being in the festival or finishing school with his class would prevent him from carrying on the family role down the line, if he wants to. Who else they gonna get?

Ep 7
Now that's what I call a show-stopper!! I didn't stand up for the ovation but I did literally applaud it. I honestly would put this on par with the "Once More, with Feeling" musical episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And the sheer joy Purson expressed just melted my heart. What a smile!
Again, I'm caught off guard by just how tall Sabnock is (7' 2.5"). He towered over Elizabetta and she's the third tallest of the Misfits.
Clara was also looking pretty sharp, and only gremlined out a couple of times.

Holy budget batman. I was expecting a big musical showcase since they have been working towards it for six episodes but they went absolutely wild with it. Might honestly be the greatest musical episode I have seen in an anime thus far. I am a bit curious about the point board though, why did class E not have any points at all?

We don't know how many points they got because the scoreboard had a flash of light obscuring that area so the subs couldn't say. However, I suspect that's not an accident and whatever they scored will come into play next week somehow.

S4 E8:
@Gina It did not, the class E score was not revealed for some reason. Maybe it just does not matter but it seems odd to leave it unclear.
Anyway, a great episode to conclude the arc with. The misfit class won (not that there was ever any doubt) and partied it up. Purson finally dealing with his dad was a welcome moment since it shows that he has grown a fair bit. Kalego giving a compliment (kind of) was welcome too, though his warning to Iruma was more than a little foreboding.

No it didn't, but it was even more obvious that it was deliberately obscured for plot reasons, rather than compositional choices. Perhaps the reason has to do with who is in Class E. Do we know its members?
Cool to finally get a look at Purson the elder. I can see why Mom is so enamored with him!
I think everyone pretty much assumes that Iruma will be the next Demon King. Have people also speculated that he's Derkila's actual son? Cause I'm thinking that, but I don't know if I'm cribbing ideas I read elsewhere or if it's my own stupid idea. -_-

Ah yes, Kirio, the creepy guy who gets a tad too excited when he sees despair. Amduscias has seemingly joined his little group but it makes sense given how desperate he is to see Derkila again. I appreciate Asmodeus seeing through the bullshit and going straight for the kill. Besides all that there was some more celebrating but it feels like the peace will be short lived.
@Gina I can not remember Class E even being mentioned before.
