Kinda amzes me that AI can already make better looking animation than studios like Orange and Polygon Pictures putting out CG stuff like Trigun Stampede.

AI continues not to be profitable and not ready for prime time despite the endless efforts of rich people to force it. You get what you pay for, and it's clear that the stilted, soulless look of generic AI animation can't even compete with a show like Invincible, where the animation is widely mocked. People make fun of that show's animation, but I think 90-95 out of 100 people would take it over this AI well...slop.

Why the heck are these amazing seiyuus doing this? Do they not care about all the harms AI does? Is Japan still living under the lie that copyright is the ONLY issue? Though this is very obviously trained on theft so even then.... Or do they not know the anime is AI? Hard to believe Sugita of all people would be involved in something like this. Sad to see. But yeah, this doesn't even look remotely decent. It looks like slop made 4 years ago

Because they're all fine with AI and don't mind it at all? It's always crazy to me to see comments that act like the sky is falling whenever anything AI is involved with something. Complete flabbergast and moral panic that would make an 80s Bible thumper blush. |

Ethics and moral issues aside, this looks like a complete garbage fire. The animation is incredibly dull and lifeless. Animation's supposed to, y'know, be animated.
