Is the Funimation Channel about to fold?
I think so for the following reasons: * The channel is ONLY carried on Verizon FiOS. No other provider carries this channel not cable, not Dish Network or DirecTV. Nor do they seem interested in carrying this channel despite repeated requests. * The syndicated block which had been airing on the Colours cable channel weeknights and weekends from 10 pm- 12 am. Has been discontinued as of April 30th. * Emails to the Funimation Channel about the above points have gone unanswered. * Lastly and most importantly, how can a cable channel survive if it is only carried by one provider? Keep your eyes on this channel in the coming months to see if I am right. |
