I came across this weird title. I didn't pick it up because I havn't heard about it yet nor have I seen an anime adaption. Anyone got any opinion on this series.

I've heard it's a sweet, funny series. A boxer reincarnated as a penguin...so that he can get a girl. Pretty good romantic-comedy reading.

The story is that of Ginji Kusanagi - a motorcycle riding punk on the debut of his boxing career who just meets the love of his life, Minako Sasebo.
And then dies.
However, as with other series, Ginji was NOT supposed to die - and as such, has a new chance at life. He can be reborn as any animal "lower than a man, but higher than a fish" or somethin' like that. And he chooses a penguin.
Through weird circumstances, he ends up being saved by Minako - and adopted by her as a pet!
The series is a comedy/romance - it's mainly fun to see Gin (his penguin name)'s reactions to things, as his mind is still human. It's stories range from the usual beach trip to more serious stories, but overall it's good.
