Is this good? If so, then yay! I just hope these titles I like get licensed for DVD release in America...

Kamichama Karin
Amuri in Star Ocean
Natsume Yuujinchou
Pita Ten
Candy Candy
Ringing Bell
Unico
The Sea Prince and the Fire Child

Yeah, I know, the three Sanrio movies I mentioned have already been licensed and dubbed long ago, but they were never put on DVD (even though I own a slightly bootleg DVD of Ringing Bell which I LOVE!!!)!

if they really want to help expand animes oversea then they should do something about piracy.

tell USA and EUROPE to block thousands of torrent and warez sites.

so instead of getting anime out there legally you want them to put their money into blocking it from the fans? are you high?

The reasons why those sites and torrents exist is basically because it isn't getting to the states fast enough and people don't like to wait. your basically hitting 2 birds with one stone by expanding the market.

There's Kodomo no jikan and the rest of zero no tsukaima that needs tio be brought here as well.Same with shakugan no shana and a lot of series that were popular over there but never got licensed cause of the questionable fanservice on some series.

If this means telling the Japanese companies to stop acting like stubborn and backward Japanese businessmen, then it should work out fine. They're the real problem why shows take years to get over here.

UK and Europe already have distributors, whats lame is having to wait months, or years, in line whilst the US gets first bite of the cherry. It's the number 1 reason fansubs became so proliferate. Japan is as much to blame and should have always included UK and Europe at the same time as the US. Maybe this move will fix that. Time will tell.

That one alone would send this whole endeavour to the bottom like the Yamato. I pray Aso has more common sense than that. Rolling Eyes
