Nagisa and Honoka from Pretty Cure, which I am following on Crunchyroll. It's been kind of fun so far, and spoiler[Kiriya and Honoka's relationship] really struck me for some reason. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one I wanted for Kiriya, or even any good screenshots.

It's a Rubic cube, from one of the most artistic anime OPs I've seen, the OP3 of Blood+. I wish the series was as good as its OP/EDs.

Okay, I decided to change my avatar from my old one of Duke Nukem (which was starting to depress me since Duke Nukem Forever was cancelled), to Snake Plissken. Snake Plissken is the main character of Escape From New York and Escape From L.A. (played by Kurt Russell). (If anybody's curious and if I remember correctly, this is a screenshot from Escape From L.A. when he's in the submarine)(if you don't know why he uses a submarine, check out Wikipedia.)

Ah! I love Rubik's cubes! As such, I enjoy your avatar. I bring them with me to tests to help calm my nerves beforehand. There was one scene in Twin Spica where the one guy solves a 4x4x4 after the other guy had clearly been fiddling around frustrated with it for a while, I wish I could solve a 4x4x4 as fast as he can (I'll get there soon!). Man I think that'd be my dream anime OP or ED, just someone solving a Rubik's cube or two. Or a 5x5x5 one! |

I thought you'd get that reference.
I'm curious, does anyone have any cool ideas for a new avy? In about four months I'll be having another birthday and I plan to change mine then but I'm not quite sure what to do yet. (I'm keeping to my young anime girl phenotype this time though. I just don't enjoy my avys as much when they aren't cute young anime girls.) |

I'm not sure if its from the manga or a doujinshi but my new avatar is Sanji looking blankly at Zoro from One Piece. It was too cute lol.
I figured...I need to change my avi more. I did fight for it and not even take advantage of it.

Tuor of Gondolin is a character from Tolkien's Middle-earth. You won't find him in 'The Lord of the Rings,' though. He's from the First Age (LotR is set at the end of the Third Age).
Tuor is the name I use on almost all the boards I post on. His significance to me is that at the end of his life, he sailed into the West with his wife and is the only man who came to be accounted among the Elves. Essentially, this means he became an Elf and was accepted into the place Elves go when they sail into the West. So, yeah, I was a Tolkien geek long before I was into anime. The pic, BTW, is of Tuor walking along the shore of the Great Sea. |

@ Dorcas_Aurelia: I like it but not enough for an avy. (Is it just me or does she like she could be a cousin of Dr. Membrane's from Invader Zim? That image kinda reminds me of the toast scene.)
