I myself have seen Hand Maid May... its a story line that some people just like. |

Hey. There are some good ones. You can't generalize them all as trash, as it is unfair.
And yeah, people do watch them, as they all aren't that bad, and some people have different tastes. It's like saying Stupid Pirate shows. Why do people watch this trash? It just isn't quite fair. |

The genre in itself, maybe. I know of a few exceptions, but yeah. Redeeming qualities come from the indivisual shows of the genre Fanservice? Redeeming? I guess from certain aspects. =P And last I checked, I don't think the maid Genre exactly fits under the shoujo label. =P And do you mean that Shoujo fans don't find many things degrading? =P |

I'm a shoujo fan, and I happen to really like the maid related shows. Especially Mahoromatic. I love its art, story, characters. Sure a little "fanservice" here and there, but there isn't anything wrong with that. I have seen worse in real life. So, yes to your original question. I love watching it. And I think its not crap, and better than a lot of other genres. |

this is the first time i cant think of any ting to say to defend the human race.
 old guys just have diffrent tast i guess 
now that i think about it i have seen a cuple too hands maid may (wich wasnt to bad...) was one of them. i cant remember the other it was a long time ago. |

it can be simply put as "fanservice sells"
and plus it seems that many older men have an obsession with either school girls and french maids. the outfits can go on pretty much any woman, they could probably care less. |
